Olympian Men Outdual Grossmont in Swimming and Diving 162-123

San Diego Mesa's men's swimming and diving team surged past Grossmont to win their first PCAC dual meet at the Joan Kroc Center 162-123 on what turned out to be a lucky Friday the 13th. Jake Roth started things off sweeping both boards scoring 233.90 on the 1 meter, and 235.75 on the 3 meter. Neil Franka Captured 3 individual victories in the 200 Free (1:45.47), 100 Free (46.59), and 100 Fly (51.22), and also led off the winning 200 Freestyle relay. Chon Pong Lao won both breaststroke events with near season bests of 59.87 in the 100 Breast, and 2:15.69 in the 200 Breast, and also participated in the winning 200 Free Relay. Zane Deck blasted ahead early and held on to his lead to finish first in the 500 Free at 5:22.68. The Olympians will travel to Palomar for another PCAC dual meet next Friday 3/20. Diving will be held at Mesa at 10am, swimming action starts at Palomar in San Marcos at 2pm.
