Sept. 11, 2014 - The Mesa men visited fellow Pacific Coast Athletic Conference member, Miramar College in the team's 2nd conference match of the season. Despite an early ejection in the 1st quarter, Olympian sophomore, Mario Ochoa fired off the first goal of the game starting a shooting rally that ended the quarter 7-3, Mesa's lead. The next three quarters saw a total of 16 more goals for the Men's Water Polo team with a huge contribution coming from Jesse Reiling who put away nine goals while teammate Bryan Bare added another six to Mesa's total 23 goals scored. The Jets tried to come back in the 4th quarter scoring four goals but time ran out and Mesa was the victor in the 23-16 game.
