The men’s basketball team once again participated in the 44th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade, held on Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego. The event is regarded as one of the largest celebrations in the United States honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“It’s important for me, as a coach, to have the community see us take part in an event that honors a great man who fought for change,” said head coach Travis Nichols. “Dr. King’s dream is my dream, especially during times like these. For many of our players, most of whom have never participated in something like this, I want to show them what it truly means to give back to your community.”
