Men's Track and Field Win Seventh Consecutive PCAC Championship

The San Diego Mesa College men's track and field team impressed at the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championships, capturing its seventh consecutive conference title with a commanding 327-point performance.

After five consecutive weeks of competition, the Olympians entered the meet in peak condition, a point emphasized by head coach Sean Ricketts, who said the team delivered exactly as expected.

Mesa finished with 327 total points, far ahead of Cuyamaca College (131), San Bernardino Valley College (71), and Southwestern College (37).

The team will now shift into a structured training and recovery phase, focusing on quality preparation ahead of the postseason. Mesa is scheduled to compete in the SoCal Prelims on Saturday, May 2, at Bakersfield College, followed by the SoCal Finals on Saturday, May 9, at the same venue. This stretch will be a key period for the coaching staff as they refine performances and prepare the team for the state championships.
