After defeating Mt. San Jacinto College in the regional round, the San Diego Mesa College softball team advances to the second round and will face El Camino College.

El Camino enters the matchup with a 28-15 overall record after defeating Fullerton College, two games to one, in its regional series. The Warriors are the No. 11 seed in the South.

The Olympians enter as the No. 3 seed in the South and will host the best-of-three series at San Diego Mesa College. Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, May 8, at 2:00 p.m. Game 2 will be played Saturday, May 9, at 12:00 p.m. If necessary, a third and deciding game will follow later that day at 2:00 p.m.
