The San Diego Mesa College women’s badminton team claimed the 2026 South Coast Conference Championship with an impressive 21–0 victory over East Los Angeles College. The Olympians finished the season with a perfect 8–0 record and will now advance to the state championships on May 7 at De Anza College. “We had a strong match today against ELAC,” said head coach June Andrews. “Despite missing some of our starters, our depth stepped up and got the job done. I’m proud of how everyone performed, and they are all continuing to develop as badminton players.”
